The Medical Center's Patient Navigator offers a full range of clinical advocacy and care management services. The navigator helps coordinate patient care, connect patients with resources and helps patients understand the healthcare system. For more information, call (270)745-1825.
The Medical Center Cancer Support Group
This group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month in The Medical Center Cancer Treatment Center lobby from 5 to 6 p.m. Cancer patients, family members, and caregivers are welcome to attend. For more information, call (270) 781-7178.
Road to Recovery
Assistance for those individuals needing transportation is available through the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program. Volunteers transport patients to and from the hospital and/or doctors office for scheduled appointments. Look Good...Feel Better
Volunteer cosmetologists teach women how to enhance their appearance by utilizing various make-up techniques. Patients learn to disguise hair loss using wigs, turbans, scarves and various accessories. Sessions and materials are provided at no charge.
