COURSE DESCRIPTION
An increase in multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter is occurring. As a result, the use of antibiotics is being restricted for some patients and there is increased focus on isolation precautions compliance. Education on this issue is paramount for physicians.

- Discuss MDR and PDR Acinetobacter.
- Explain antibiotic stewardship and its effects on Acinetobacter.
- Discuss the importance of isolation precautions and its potential impact on patient outcomes.
