Nurse of the Year

At The Medical Center, we value our nursing staff and want to celebrate, honor, and recognize our outstanding nurses. To that end, the Recruitment, Retention and Recognition Council created the Nurse of the Year recognition.

Nominees go before a selection committee prior to being voted on by nursing staff. The selection committee evaluates each nurse’s demonstrated leadership, excellence in customer service, community involvement and commitment to the nursing profession.

2011 Nurse of the Year

Pam Brigl, RN IV

Endoscopy

Pam is celebrating her 30th year with Commonwealth Health Corporation. Four years ago, she and a co-worker started "Guiding Lights," an endo educational group. Pam is excited and proud of its success. "This has been a great way for our department to come together as a group. This helps us work together and has increased our team spirit and cohesiveness."
